Public sector net debt in health spending scenarios (FSR 2011)

This chart is from the OBR’s first Fiscal sustainability report, published in July 2011. Spending on health makes the largest single contribution to the increase in age-related spending in our central projection for public sector net debt. This chart illustrates two alternative scenarios using different assumptions for health spending.
