Public finance forecasts

The OBR produces medium term forecasts of the public finances twice a year and long term projections once a year.

The OBR has published a briefing paper to describe the fiscal forecasting process and provide detail on the specific processes underlying key receipts, lines of expenditure and financial transactions.

Where possible we also release supplementary fiscal forecast information or data in response to external requests which we receive after publication of the EFO. On this page you can find all our latest fiscal forecast publications and supplementary releases.
